HLTFA211A – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (5 hours)
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for those students requiring workplace first aid skills.
HLTCPR211A – Perform CPR (3 hours)
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide CPR, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for those students requiring workplace first aid skills.
22101VIC – Course in Automated External Defibrillation (3 hours)
This unit covers the competency required to operate a semi-automatic defibrillator to defibrillate a casualty in an emergency.
HLTFA311A – Apply First Aid (workbook + 1 day practical)
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for those students requiring workplace first aid skills.
HLTFA412A – Apply Advanced First Aid
This unit builds on HLTFA311A; Apply First Aid, to include additional skills and use a range of equipment.
