Why Your Event Needs Medical Support
Emergency Management Australia’s “Safe & Healthy Mass Gatherings” – A Health & Safety Planning Manual for Public Events, states that “planning for the provision of medical care for both event spectators and participants is essential for both humanitarian and legal reasons. The incidence of illness will be greater than expected to occur naturally in a population of comparable size”.
It has been identified 0.5% to 1.5% of all spectators/participants will require some form of medical assistance at events.
In the case of Cardiac Arrest, Heart Attack, Severe Asthma & Trauma, effective care by medical staff within the first 4 minutes means the difference between life and death. Emergency care is based on the Chain of Survival concept.
First Care Medical can provide ALL links in this chain, including Advanced Life Support.
Our qualified medical professionals are supplied in smart practical uniforms (primarily in the internationally recognised green medical colour) for easy recognition in a crowd.
We can provide medical teams ranging from two person Basic Life Support to an entire field medical centre, complete with ‘Resus rooms’ and a Medical Officer.
